DESCRIPTION
Colour
Vibrant deep cherry red
Aroma
The nose is very reminiscent of a bowl of dark berries such as raspberry,
strawberry and wild cherry, combined with dark plums and confectionery.
Palate
Dense black berry flavours initially excite, and then merge into the mocha and
chocolate richness of Shiraz. The palate shows great texture and softness, and
is very rounded with long persistence. The finish is left with hints of savoury
spice and herbal notes.

58% Grenache, 40% Shiraz, 2% Mourvèdre

Varieties were fermented separately for 8 days in upright static fermenters,

temperatures of around 25-27°C. The wine was pumped over skins twice per
day, and was run off skins and pressed at 2 degrees Baume.
